When you need or want a softener. This is the Hot-Side Option in addition to EWS Whole Home Water Filtration.

Recommended application on 3/4" to 1" water line inlet to one or more water heaters providing softened water to the hot water only for the dishwasher, white clothes laundry and that "feeling" in the shower or bath. This option allows the EWS System to filter all the water to the home and appliances.

Application on 3/4" to 1" water line and water hardness of up to 125 grains with proper setting. Brine tank holds 300lbs. of salt. Digital high-efficiency metered valve meets the highest standards to waste less water, use less salts, create less brine and allow a more even effect of softened water at all times up to 12gpm.
