Every unit in the Salt Softener series provides salt-softened water to the entire home or on the hot-side only, depending on individual needs and preferences.
**IMPORTANT NOTES**
1.) Salt softeners are illegal or restricted in several areas in the United States, including California and Texas.
2.) Salt softeners are NOT filtration devices. They do NOT remove chlorine, chloramine, VOCs, etc. Please see our EWS Filtration & Conditioning system for filtration and assistance with water hardness.
3.) Salt softened water cannot be used for drinking or watering plants. A softener can be combined with an EWS Reverse Osmosis System at the sink for filtered, salt-free drinking water, cooking, and water for pets and plants.
RT 1035 - Cabinet Style Salt Softener, Ideal for Hot-Side Only Use.
Our salt softeners are the only softeners on the market with high-efficiency digital metered valves that meet the highest standards to waste less water, use less salts, create less brine discharge, and allow a more even effect of softened water at all times. Designed for any home with a 3/4" to 1" water main service line and continuous flow rates up to 12gpm.
The brine tank holds up to 100 lbs. of sodium or potassium chloride resin. Excellent for low to moderate household usage and hot-side only applications. Designed for homes with up to 4 people, 3 baths, and 1 water heater.
Use with 3/4" - 1" water main service lines for continuous flow rates up to 12gpm. Does not inhibit pressure or flow rate.
